Stop Pause Play
Workshop Trial for Women with young children
Through our work with women and families, we’ve come to find that amongst the webs of responsibilities and expectations that Mothers face, it can be easy to lose sense of who you are, where you fit, what you want and where you are going. These workshops will be designed to allow you to stop, reconnect with yourself, before engaging with the rest of the week from a stronger sense of self. It will involve committing to 4 x weekly sessions of 90 minutes each and will explore personal use of music, play and creativity (and the blocks that impede it). Through our time together we may uncover themes of identity, authenticity, relationships with self and others, emotional expression - while building on tools you can take back into your day-to-day life. Ultimately, we hope this group will allow each person to explore their potentials. Registered Music Therapists, Claire Stephensen and Kylie Ferris will facilitate the workshops.
This group is open to Mothers with young children – babes in arms welcome.
